The Western world was greatly impacted by this way of procuring justice. These ideas grew as colonial expansion reached Westward, spawning a new type of democracy and a brand new type of laws that would forever change the way people looked at a democratic country.

In short, the contribution of the centuries and the ancient kingdoms of the earth have all contributed to the modern legal systems that we are familiar with today.
