There Might Be A Chance To Have Something From The Kalmindon Car Crash
1 ought to count one’s blessings, especially in difficult days such as these. I’m looking at a circumstance of such horrible financial peril that I haven’t experienced before as the money are running short and it’s the nearest to the limit that I’ve ever been, and I’ve been close before.
Periods of unemployment are not new, it’s the freelancer’s risk, but this time things are worse because I was relying on someone who has let me down horribly and very late. In March of this year I trained in SEO through a business named Kalmindon that had been advertising at the Jobcentre. They wanted folks to come in and they would supply the clients. I had 2 interviews and the only sticking point was that I needed to pay them three grand for the training. Ways and means were found and I completed the course and waited for them to supply paying clients so I could start to get my dough back and begin a new, well paid career – as, what could go awry?
Well, quite a bit as it happened. The company couldn’t come up with a thing, let alone the “…employment guaranteed on completion of training” as stated on the page I originally contacted them on. And because I first met them in the offices of a couple of Job Centre’s and the notice was originally seen at Jobcentre Plus it all seemed kosher but it seems that there was no job. It was just a swindle, Kalmindon just wanted the money for the training, and then a long sequence of fobbing off started during which time my resources, mainly the money left to me when my nana passed away earlier this year, have shrunk to almost nothing.
So, now I am doing SEO on my own website to try and either get some customers of my own or at least prove to potential employers that I can really do this. So I am trying to use my company to offer both SEO and IT support in the Black Country. As my wife is having treatment for breast cancer I have to be able to work via the house so as to be able to go to the hospital with her, particularly when she begins radiotherapy just before Christmas and she will be going every day.
Firms in the Black Country need IT support as much as anyone else and small busineses may not have dedicated support to call on. And many will have webpages that do not have much of a internet presence as far as getting into the search results is concerned and this is a major problem as if potential buyers can’t find their way onto the website through a normal search for things a company does, then the site basically isn’t worth having.
So, although time is of the essence and I need to to find some type of earning job as soon as possible, I do reckon that with SEO and IT support I can give valuable services to Black Country business and help the local economy. And in these difficult times, if I can get enough customers that I can handle personally, I can take someone on or who knows SEO, perhaps a few and try and do something about the unemployment numbers at the same time! Worth a try don’t you think?
