Listing Of Horror Motion Pictures That Do Not Suck
Horror motion pictures have always been the preferred genre of many movie lovers around the world. However horror motion pictures do not receive the admiration from movie critics that other genres get. It’s very hard to make a really good and frightening horror flick. The listing of horror movies that come worth it isn’t very long. Slasher films tried to substitute horror motion pictures about twenty years ago but those are not genuine horror motion pictures. On any list of scary movies that don’t suck you will see a few really nightmarish movies. Here’s my listing of horror motion pictures that are worth watching.
“Rosemary’s Baby” may be a bit dated these days and may not provide you with the sort of chills it did when it initially arrived on the scene, but it’s still one of the excellent atmospheric flicks ever made and still can creep you out. “Psycho” might have been the very first slasher movie but it is a real scary picture and has all of the gothic trademarks of excellent horror movies plus a dangerous and corny contemporary setting that everyone who’s ever stayed at a roadside motel can attest to.
“The Exorcist” obviously remains at the top on anyone’s list of horror films that don’t suck. If you have never seen it, then you need to drop anything and everything you’re working on and go purchase it right now. Put it on your huge flat tv screen this evening and see it with another person that has never seen it. It’s still the most unsettling and deeply frightening film ever made by a longshot and will certainly keep you awake for many evenings to come. This particular movie is certainly not for young children and not for the faint of heart. It’s very brutal and extremely unsettling.
“The Blair Witch Project” was probably the greatest grossing movie in history in any genre because it cost so little to produce and yet produced billions of dollars. Making use of handheld shaky cameras the movie is a mock documentary about a group of students shooting a documentary on the well-known “Blair Witch” in the Maryland forest. The three students go missing deep in the forest and experience some really horrifying things out there. Without spoiling it you should stick with this one till the very end.
2009′s Blair Witch Project was a little indie film called “Paranormal Activity” and is about a suburban couple who discover their San Diego home haunted by an evil demon (are there some other kinds?) and they again make use of handheld cameras and night vision cameras to movie the ghostly situations. This is a flick that starts little by little but develops to a scary final act. This movie joins our listing of horror flicks that don’t suck mainly because it will truly scare you. The majority of the directors of these motion pictures have gone on to greater fame outside the independent horror arena. Directors including Ethan and Joel Coen (The Big Lebowski) and Sam Raimi (Spiderman) have started out in the independent horror world only to find themselves with huge Hollywood careers.
There are many websites offering various forms of advice on using Green Screen Backgrounds but a majority of of them are not very detailed or specific. Make sure to consider my own reviews and posts on all you need to know about Green Screen before following other advice.
