Amendments Made To Search Engine Displays Won’t Have An Impact On SEO As A Few Have Warned
Google has released the Google Instant version of its search engine which is a major step in the development of searching for internet content. The new look is that instead of typing in words to describe the the search and pressing Enter, or using the Go button, the list of possible links displays live as more search words are entered. It’s very clever and makes searching much more straightforward since a search can be changed and tweaked with instant results.
What does this mean for search engine optimisation? To be honest, it depends who you are. If you are presenting yourself as an affordable SEO company and doing search engine optimisation services then it actually won’t make any difference at all. Plenty of people have been muttering that it is pulling the plug on online marketing and will level search engine optimisation to a triviality.
If you are a firm with a site and have retained the skills of a software consultancy or employed an affordable SEO company to put your website to the summit of the search results tables, it’s a super idea since you can see at once whether your cash is being effectively spent with a positive result.
I can’t concur that the end is nigh for search engine optimisation. For the simple reason that the way Google, Webcrawler and the others operate their search magic is fundamentally unchanged. An amendment to the way the content was gathered based on a recalculation of how the database was used would be a huge amendment. And so it is with Google Instant. It is fair to say that anybody whose income relies entirely on somebody else is always likely to be nervous about any alterations that could be made having a damaging effect. This is in fact the exact same position as anybody who works in a factory who may sweat about his employer bagging up all the plant and tools and moving them off to China or Malaysia, or in fact somebody who works for somebody else who may get up with a hideouos hangover and sack the whole department.
The fact is that the search engine optimisation will always be subject to disturbance if Google was to radically alter the way the search engines work. But the point that they do work and anyone would need an stunningly good excuse to pluck and re-feather the golden goose.
So anybody who has an affordable SEO company (or an expensive one) need have no fear about Google altering and improving the way it shows search results. It makes no difference at all to how search engine optimisation works.
